As we prepare to debate the red carpet style of the BAFTAS we had a warm up last night.
Little House, Mayfair hosted Harvey Weinstein’s pre BAFTA nominee dinner in association with Burberry. An array of stars (both newbies and veterans) came out to celebrate the event and they celebrated in style.Guests sipped on Grey Goose cocktails and nibbled on Tuna Tartare & Mushroom Risotto.
My best dressed of the night was Gemma Chan in Burberry and Douglas Booth definitely represented the boys in a relaxed yet tailored look. Check out some shots from the A-list bash, below.
Burberry
Saturday
Today I spent the morning in Broadway Market followed by an afternoon in the pub with some good board games and even better company.
As the temperatures continue to drop here in London, I wrapped up warm and today I’m wearing: G-star leather jacket, All Saints jumper, Urban Outfitters suede detail leggings and Burberry high tops. I finished my look with a vintage crocodile cross body handbag and a Burberry scarf.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far!

Outfit of The Night
Last night I had the pleasure of attending a good friends 30th Birthday. The bash took place in The South Place Hotel, which is a really nice venue spread over 7 floors. I had never been so was really nice to check out a new place in London.Afterwards we made our way to The Box in Soho til the early hours.
I wore a blue Espirit Shirt, a leather Warehouse Skirt, Vivienne Westwood clutch and Burberry heels.
Burberry Prorsum
‘World Traveller’ was the theme for the Burberry Prorsum AW14 collection, taking inspirations from across the globe. From Scottish woven blanket scarfs to the St Paul’s Cathedral motif sweater to the hand painted ‘St Ives’ bag Christopher Bailey was clearly sticking to his English roots. However kimono style jackets, fringe detail outerwear and silk scarfs with prints inspired by varying cities across the globe definitely bought an international feel to the collection. I loved the fisherman inspired mesh vests and heavy knit jumpers but my favourite pieces were the leaf print scarf and red tapestry bag from Look 42. Without a doubt this is one of my favourite Burberry Collections to date!

Out with the old..
Firstly,I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and ate 10 ten times their own body weight in Turkey sandwiches like me☺️
As the new year creeps up on us I can’t help but reminisce on the great year in fashion that was 2013. I’ve chosen some of my favorite campaigns of the year (as seen below). Do you agree? Or am I missing some essentials?
Don’t forget the boys!
Better late than never
So the madness that is London Fashion Week has ended and I can finally catch my breath and appreciate the beautiful (and wacky) creations that hit Somerset House.
As I wasn’t walking this season I decided to help out my agency, Elite, with the PR and social media work that goes hand in hand with show season. Thus I was able to appreciate the shows and scour style.com for all my favourite pieces.
The first show that really grabbed my attention was Ashish. We watched the show together in the office and we almost simultaneously decided that we were going to get our hands on one of those sequinned shoppers. Even though all the glitz was bordering on gaudy, the tom boy feel and flat shoes really bought the outfits together. I also loved the Coca Cola branding and fell in the love with the blue t-shirt in look 16.
I was pleasantly surprised by Giles and I found myself dreaming about the SS14 dresses. The 90’s theme a la Kate Moss and Hogan runners really made the show.On paper it shouldn’t of worked but it really came together and the collection was beautiful.
Unsurprisingly I loved Christopher Kane’s show. I have been a long time fan and really look forward to seeing the designers offerings each season. The collection consisted of beautiful feminine pieces and some tailored pieces with eye catching rain drop detail. All the outfits were paired with wicked heels as well. My favourite outfit was the green pastel jumper and lace detail skirt. Its such a youthful and fun ensemble.
Last but not least on my favourite list was Burberry. Though the sheer lace dresses were questionable I thought the men’s tailoring and women’s coats were spot on.I also liked how Elliot Smedley styled the show, often clashing pastels.
Festival Fashion
The festival season has officially kicked off with Glastonbury this week & it’s finally time to get our festival best on. Some people live for their annual festival and go all out however festivals can work out quite costly. You don’t have to break the bank to be on trend yet practical (a necessity with the English weather) this year.
I have outlined 3 festival outfits for those on a budget, have a little to spend or a lot to splurge.
All available to buy at Selfridges unless otherwise stated.

London Collections: Men
One of my first posts almost 6 months ago was on AW13 menswear and here we are at SS14. London Collections: Men kicks starts the menswear calendar showcasing British talent biannually. Now in its 3rd season and hugely successful it has fast become an integral part of the British fashion industry.
Over 80 designers showcased for SS14 over 3 days. While undoubtedly Katie Eary was my favourite collection, many designers produced amazing collections with bold colours and prints appearing in abundance through out the 3 day event.
Military Time
Even though the weather continues to act otherwise, it is in fact Spring. Thus I am marching on with all things SS13 despite the lack of sunshine.
A personal favourite SS13 trend of mine is the Military look. It was seen on catwalks from Band of Ousiders to MaxMara and the great thing about this trend is it can provide with an extra, stylish layer until its time to break out the floral dresses and bandeau tops!
If you don’t want to splash out on a new jacket or tailored trousers (or simply feel you look a bit G.I Jane) you can add a spalsh of the military trend to your outfit with some cheap and cheerful accessories too.
