‘World Traveller’ was the theme for the Burberry Prorsum AW14 collection, taking inspirations from across the globe. From Scottish woven blanket scarfs to the St Paul’s Cathedral motif sweater to the hand painted ‘St Ives’ bag Christopher Bailey was clearly sticking to his English roots. However kimono style jackets, fringe detail outerwear and silk scarfs with prints inspired by varying cities across the globe definitely bought an international feel to the collection. I loved the fisherman inspired mesh vests and heavy knit jumpers but my favourite pieces were the leaf print scarf and red tapestry bag from Look 42. Without a doubt this is one of my favourite Burberry Collections to date!
